Anthropic, the company behind the AI assistant Claude, is testing the Reflect with Claude feature. It summarizes which subjects the user works with, when the service is used and which types of data are returned.

The view can go back one, three, six or twelve months. It can also ask questions about which tasks the user wants to continue doing themselves, as well as offer quiet times and reminders to take a break.

The feature is in beta for Free, Pro, and Max on the web and in the desktop app. Claude's memory function must be turned on. Incognito conversations and underlying files from connected tools should not be used, but Anthropic warns that sensitive topics may still be visible at an overall level.

Därför spelar det roll

The news shifts the focus from how much AI can do to how people actually use the tool. For schools and workplaces, that kind of overview can help discuss boundaries, work habits and which decisions should stay with a person.

Det här kan du göra

  1. Open the settings in Claude and check that memory is enabled.
  2. Review which data you often hand over to AI.
  3. Choose a task where you want to maintain your own training or your own judgement.
